Hitting the application deadline

The exams are barely over and we already started our preparations for the Rubicon Contest. There is a lot to do. We, the team management, are eager to look through the applications from all over the world and answer all upcoming questions of the teams.

Beside interesting teams from all over Europe and the USA, Universities from Ghana and Nigeria as well as Kazakhstan, India, Malaysia and Australia have applied for the Contest.

We are impressed by the internationality of the participants and the number of experiences and knowledge they have to offer.  Surprised by the different varieties of curriculum vitaes and letters of applications we were awaiting the last applications in a night shift. We are proud to announce that more teams than ever before want to take the challenge of the Rubicon Contest. This is evidence enough that our preparations are worth it.

Right now we are in the mid of selecting the most qualified, creative and imaginative teams. That is by far not easy and will take some more effort.

The internationality of the teams is also challenging for us, for example acquisitions of the different visa are tasks we will be working on in the next days.
