On numerous occasions - in case studies and other competitions - we had the opportunity to experience situations in which we had to overcome difficult problems working as a team. We profited enormously from these challenges, building our team work and our problem solving capabilities. With an average age of 23, our team stands out for its internationality and experience: Combined, we have worked or studied in 7 different countries and on 6 different universities, worked or interned at 20 different companies and speak 5 different languages.
We see the Rubicon contest with its three consecutive days of competition as the ultimate challenge to put our skills to the test and to apply our academic and practical business know-how to the real problems that will shape all of our future. Our team's name "Daŭripovo" is Esperanto for "Sustainability" and is intended to reflects how we think about green business management: Solutions to global environmental topics such as climate change, renewable energy production or the protection of clean water supply can only be reached by international collaboration. Companies, with their economic and technological power, must accept their responsibility in driving the change and use their influence to establish practices of green business management both within their own organization and across the whole value chain they are part of. We are thrilled with the opportunity to work on this interesting topic, share our opinions and compete with students from around the world. |
