Sensible and efficient ways to the Mobility of the Future

Mobility will be the challenge of the century all over the world. Globalization, obsolescence and the continuing desire to travel will lead to enormous changes in the mobility. Today, every person spends 1.1 hours per day to travel from A to B.

Some of the existing needs of mobility are already covered through social networks. Therefore, we differentiate the mobility of people in the real room and the virtual room.

While the real mobility is connected with public transport and logistics, the potentials of the virtual mobility tends to be neglected. Even though some forms of mobility are becoming redundant. Nowadays, in most cases it has become unnecessary to circulate through the real room because technologies such as the internet offer virtual mobility. In times of the web 2.0 and the internet new services and information are available. The future needs of the mobility are expanding and represent a chance for an automobile club, too.

Through additional challenges such as shortage of mineral oil we are forced to go new and innovative ways which are both economically as well as ecologically reasonable. Social, economical, ecological, political and technological trends have to be realized as soon as possible to develop strategies to adapt situations. For companies this means the development of new technologies, products and services for the mobility of the future.

The future of mobility will be determined by the questions:

  • Which needs of mobility are expected through social trends?
  • What contributions can be made by web 2.0 and the internet to shape the future of mobility?
  • Which forms of mobility, drive and services belong to the future?
